Travel to Port Royal, located at the mouth of Kingston Harbour, once known as the “wickedest city on Earth.” This infamous 17th-century port was a major center for piracy, shipping, and commerce. After a devastating earthquake in 1692, much of the city sank beneath the sea, creating a remarkably preserved archaeological site now recognized by UNESCO for its historical importance.
